Good to get reacquainted with the wines from Turkey Flat, they ignored me for many years, which given the high opinion I have of myself, is really quite surprising to me. This has 15% whole bunch and no new oak.
"It’s bright, flavoursome, packed with boysenberry and fresh blackberry, spice and blue flowers. Medium bodied, cool in acidity and emery tannin, some meat in with the fresh dark berry fruit, certainly the spice and energy is here, and the finish is clean, lightly chalky, with a smattering of dried herb and pepper in the aftertaste. It’s a wonderful expression of modern Barossa Shiraz. "
